DanWolf92 link parent. Oh, I have heard about this one, but to be honest, I didn't read it and I don't know if I will. I know, the correct thing is to read the story to form your own opinion about it, but when I was looking around more about your characters, I heard about the Bucking the System and some bad comments about it, especially about a point where Pat almost had a breakdown because Nightshade had sex with another guy and humiliated him during the event.

But at the beginning, actually Pat suggest try the cuck fetish I don't know, forgive my ignorance since I just read the comments, but after imagined that, all that situation of being humiliated and everything else I just figured out that's not my thing and really felt bad for Pat, so I decided to not look futher on it. Anyway, now seeing that Nightshade and Patrick still together, it means they got over this and still love each other, which is good and I know that my opinion maybe won't matter that much now, but I'm glad for that.

I mean, Bucking the System wasn't written by me so it's technically not canon. Anything with other people's OCs aren't canonical, but my OCs wouldn't act out of character either, if that makes sense?

Still, I enjoyed the story and gave my approval for it and helped Dragon Cobolt brainstorm and proofread it. A lot of my fans who have read the book really loved it. The kink isn't for everyone, and some of the scenarios aren't terribly realistic for the sake of dramatic tension and such Better than being forgotten :P Also what you described is not exactly how that scene went.

Night didn't really even speak during that scene, and Pat clams up and forgets to use the safe word, which made her think he was enjoying the show. She actually is really distraught later when Pat admits to her that he felt distressed about the situation I very often get comments saying that Night has to prove she still cares about Pat, which tells me these critics don't understand their relationship or bother to read the comics or stories that feature that kink.

They just see Pat's masculinity being threatened and want reassurance. So, no need to worry - Night's not abusing Pat and she cares deeply for him. They're sticking together, and were never at risk of breaking up XD. Oooh, I understand it now. And yes, I got it that part of yous OCs wouldn't act out character, especially since you approved the story in first place and even not being canon, it's good to know how the situation really end it.

I think they also want Night to make some kind of huge proclamation that she loves Pat, and I think that would just be too out of character.

I did a handful of comics focusing on the kink, but I always saw it as a detour from Pat and Night. I also felt it kind of hindered Puz and Di a bit, as Di got overshadowed.
